The Society of Camera Operators is presenting an in-depth discussion on the creative decisions made during production of Nightmare Alley.
Nightmare Alley, with four Academy Award nominations, brings the viewer into Guillermo del Toro’s surreal world through the emersion of his visual storytelling.
Gilles Corbeil, SOC, camera operator, will discuss working with director, Guillermo del Toro, and the unique artistic collaboration that is created on his sets. Watch clips from Nightmare Alley and hear Corbeil discuss the challenges and creative solutions in making this cinematic thriller.
Nightmare Alley has been nominated for the 2022 Academy Awards for: Best Picture, Cinematography, Costume Design and Production Design.
