Type R for TV
Type R for TV is a modular, expandable, IP-based mixing system which uses standard networking hardware and soft panels and can be tailored to operator needs. Type R for TV is ST2110 compatible and all panels use power over COTS POE+ switches. Type R for TV has a flexible IP backbone that can be used across multiple sites and a 2U core that can power up to three independent mixing environments. Its flexible soft panels can be adapted on the fly to meet changing requirements, and all signal manipulation can be done remotely in the Calrec Assist web GUI or on Type R’s dedicated flexible hardware. Type R for TV also plays well with others, and is a good choice for stations looking for a complete IP station automation system.
